Your next step
See Newman. Then decide.
The best way to understand a school isn't reading a website, no matter how well-made. It's being there: seeing the classrooms, hearing how a teacher explains a lesson, talking with the person running the academic project.

With the director
Talk with the academic director, not a salesperson.
In session

What to expect
The tour in four stages.
Every tour is private and adapts to what matters most to you, but this is the typical flow.
Welcome
A brief conversation to understand what you're looking for, your child's age, and what brought you to Newman.
Campus walkthrough
Classrooms, library, chapel, outdoor spaces. We explain how an academic day is organized.
Model in action
We visit a classroom in session. You'll see how Latin is taught, how Spanish and English alternate, how classical reading works.
Conversation with leadership
We answer your questions, discuss admissions and costs, and walk you through the process if you want to proceed.
Frequently asked
What parents like you ask us.
The most common questions before scheduling. If yours isn't here, write it on the form and we'll answer by email.
How long does the tour last?
The private tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. It includes a walkthrough of classrooms, common areas, chapel, and outdoor spaces, plus a personal conversation with the academic director or coordinator of the level that interests you.
Can I bring my child to the tour?
Yes, and we actually recommend it. Having your child see the space and meet the teachers before the decision is an important part of the process. If your child is school-aged and you visit during school hours, we can arrange for them to see a class in session.
Do I need to apply before the tour?
No. The tour is purely informational, with no commitment required. If after the visit you decide to apply, we will give you the complete admissions documentation and guide. The tour is always the recommended first step.
What documents should I bring to the tour?
None. The tour is informational and requires no documentation. If you want to use the visit to begin the admissions process, you may bring your child's most recent report card and proof of address — but it is not required.
What times are tours scheduled?
Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. We recommend slots between 9:00 and 11:00 AM so you can see the campus in full academic activity. Provide 2 or 3 options on the form and we will confirm the one that works best.
How quickly will you contact me?
We respond by email or WhatsApp within 24 business hours. For something more urgent, you can call us directly at +52 899 925 2223 during office hours.
Do you accept mid-year transfer students?
Yes. We accept transfers during the academic year subject to availability in the corresponding level and academic record review. The tour is the first step to assess feasibility in your particular case.
Is the school accredited by the Mexican SEP?
Yes. Newman Institute operates with official SEP accreditation. At the same time, we are part of the Pharr Oratory of St. Philip Neri School System (Texas, USA), which gives us our binational character and allows us to implement the classical bilingual curriculum without sacrificing Mexican official requirements.
